Our levels

Our course syllabus follows the official Common European Framework of Reference for Languages which is a guideline used to describe achievements of learners of foreign languages across the world. The six reference levels (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2) are becoming widely accepted as the international standard for grading an individual's language proficiency.

Grammar

  • Me parece/es + fantástico/genial/malísimo/etc + infinitivo/que-subjuntivo: Es terrible que la gente espere el bus durante tanto tiempo.
  • Es cierto/evidente/etc.+que+indicativo: Es cierto que hay pocos buses.
  • No creo/pienso/etc+que+subjuntivo: No creo que sea un problema difícil de solucionar.
  • Conditional: No me gustaría vivir en el campo. Tendría que trabajar muy duro bajo la lluvia.
B1.6 is a fast-paced course aimed at reviewing most contents presented throughout all the previous B1 levels. We only recommend the B1.6 course to students who feel confident in producing most of the B1 content and would only need a quick revision as a refreshment.

  • Linking words to show contrast, cause, consequence and addition: ya que, dado que, puesto que, por lo tanto, entonces, sin embargo, aunque, además, encima, etc.
  • Direct Object and Indirect Object pronouns: me, te, le, lo, la, nos, les, los, las.
  • Affirmative and Negative Imperative structures
  • Se pasivo and different forms of impersonal structures: se ruega silencio, prohibido fumar.
